Community send sos to Ogun govt, firms

The Bale of Abule Ola in Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State, Yaya Oshounmuyiwa, has called on the state Government and telecommunication companies to, as a matter of urgency, bring development to the community.

The community is under the Olu of Orile-Ilawo in the Odeda local government area of the State, Oba Alexander Olusegun MacGregor.

The Bale in a statement, said for many years the community has been living without power and potable water, adding that communication has also been absent.

“In this present era, we still go to neighbouring community when we seek network on our phones. It is really that bad. Some who can afford it now use solar system.

“The government and telecommunication companies should please come to our aid,” he said.

He added: “We all know how information is key to our daily lives. We appeal to the telecommunication companies to come to Abule Ola.

“Their presence will surely bring rapid development to our community. The government too should provide use good road, hospital and school.

“We have a large population and we believe this kind of development will not only benefit us but also the state government and companies.
