Several Nigeria-based and overseas athletes have already reported to camp, including United States-based sprinter Kayinsola Ajayi, who has joined the team’s pre-Games training camp in the UK.
Nigeria’s 3×3 basketball team, currently camped in Amsterdam, has also begun its final preparations by playing the first of two scheduled international friendly matches. The second warm-up game is expected to further fine-tune the team’s readiness before it joins the rest of the delegation in Scotland.
