Citizenship Newspaper officially announces operations

The Citizenship Media Limited, publishers of Citizenship Daily, Citizenship Weekend and Citizenship online newspapers has formally announced operations of titles in its platform.

A statement in Abuja yesterday by Saidu Abubakar (PhD), the General Manager, Administration of the Citizenship Media Limited, said the company was glad to introduce the newspaper to the  public.

The motto or slogan of the newspaper as given by the management is: “Inform the citizens, empower the nation”

It said the newspaper, a digital, online and offline news platform, had published its debut preview edition on Monday, February 12, 2024, although its online edition had been afloat earlier.

“We are committed to independent journalism practice for truth, justice and development. Our mission is to provide timely, accurate and insightful news coverage that will defend the citizens and promote informed discourse for a just and prosperous society,” the statement said.
