Nigerians have been called upon to continue to offer prayers for the leadership of the country to take them to the Promised Land in the face of daunting socio-economic challenges.

In a release issued by Secretary General of the Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, Special Apostle Tunde Ogunkunle, it said to this end, the church will mobilise thousands of members to its Lagos-Ibadan Expressway site, on Friday, to offer prayers for the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government and other stakeholders in the nation’s project.

The event is the second quarterly vigil of the church with the theme: …And Now when Shall I Prepare for Mine Own House  Also… (Gen. 30:30b).

According to the release, “There is no better time than now to pray for this leadership of this country than now. That is why the C&S Church is dedicating its second quarterly vigil to praying for the success of governments at all levels so that Nigerians can continue to benefit from democratic dividends.”

Several heads of churches in the Unification would be in attendance.
