The Christ Embassy, renowned pentecostal church led by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, will next week hold its May 2024 Rhapathon with Pastor Chris, a global programme celebrating the heroic and legendary feats of its publication, Rhapsody of Realities.
Speaking on the event scheduled from May 15-18, in Lagos, yesterday, directors of the Loveworld Publishing Limited, said it would showcase the global impact of Christ Embassy’s daily devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, in word evangelism.
The event will feature ministration by Pastor Oyakhilome, author of Rhapsody of Realities, as well as testimonies of those whose lives have been touched positively and those who received miracles reading the daily devotional.
They revealed that the church has over 200,000 translators working every month on Rhapsody of Realities, to ensure that the publication is available globally, while describing it as “is one of the most powerful evangelical tools to propagate the gospel.”
Throwing light on Rhapsody of Realities, a member of the Central Executive Council of LoveWorld Incorporated, Pastor Tuoyo Tom Temisan, said God inspired the publication.
“Rhapsody is the word of God. The book is devotional for everyone to read daily in order to know the word of God and be in tune daily with it. It is the most translated with about 8,000 languages in the world, 4,000 dialects in the world and is in every language in the world.
“It is also available for the visually impaired, with 2,000 real languages and Braille. It is available in heard copy print, soft copy, and electronic and audio format. It is the most widely distributed after the Bible and can be found in every recognised and unrecognised region.
“Every demographic region has their own, and it is produced; in adult version, teenager, children, early reader as well as kiddies version. It has brought salvation to many, healed people globally and even raised the dead and so on.”
Also, Director, Communication Affairs, Pastor Ifeoma Chiemeka, said: “We go beyond limit to take the book to the world. It has reached billions and there’re still billions to be reached. Rhapsody makes the word of God go round. I call it the book of success.”
While enjoining all lovers of God’s word to get a copy of the book, she said the book is a gift and is used as an evangelical tool to reach out to many who are eager to preach the Gospel of God.
“In addition, we have a publication for sign language. It is a book of truth and it helps you to know God’s stand. It helps keep you on track. It impacts life and will take you from one glory to another,” she said.
On his part, Director, Loveworld Church Growth International, Pastor Lanre Alabi, said the Rhapsody of Realities has been the only book that has been consistent.
He said the event will bring about blessings to participants, emphasising:
