As the Chief Executive Officer of Charzin Industries Limited, those who know Charles Ezeagwu identify him as a highly innovative, creative and self-motivated individual with great determination to succeed.
These qualities began to manifest in him at a very young age as he quickly integrated into Christo Group, a stationery business founded by his late father, from where he rose through the administrative ladder to becoming the company’s General Manager.
The managerial experience and the higher education he acquired, having earned a degree in Public Administration and Finance from Kensington University, Glendale, California, USA and honorary doctorate degree in Business Administration and Corporate Governance, equipped him to establish Charzin Group of Companies and make a success of it.
Under his Group are Charzin Stationery Limited, Charzin Industries, Romeo and Juliet Event Centre, Royal Terrace Hotel and Towers Limited and Charzin Construction & Property Development Limited, with interests in manufacturing and bulk importation, recreational facilities and fast food business, real estate, direct sales management and international brokerage.
Away from business, he is committed to the well being of people and the pursuit of a better society. This is in line with his personal philosophy that ‘unless life is lived for others it is not worth living,’ a principle upon which his business and social life stand.
In his home town, Nnokwa, in Anambra State, his name rings a bell owing to his contributions to the community’s socio-economic development. Among projects that earned him applause are rural electricity supply, township hall expansion, and youth empowerment.
