There are strong indications that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) may name ex international and Enyimba FC coach Finidi George as Super Eagles B head coach ahead of CHAN 2024 qualifiers starting in September.
Former coach of the team Salisu Yusuf was fired after the failure of the team to make it to the last edition of the tournament which took place in Algeria. The Super Eagles B last qualified for the CHAN in 2018 in Morocco where they got to the final before losing 4-0 the host country.
Finidi who won the Nigeria Professional Football League title with Enyimba last season will be handed the reign in addition to his role as one of the assistants of coach of the main team Jose Peseiro.
