The Healthcare Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has welcomed CareOne Digital Hospitals into the HFN Health Guardians Initiative, strengthening private sector collaboration aimed at advancing healthcare transformation, policy advocacy, innovation, and sustainable health system development in Nigeria.
The Health Guardians Initiative was developed to support sustained engagement between HFN and forward-looking healthcare organizations that share a commitment to improving healthcare delivery, promoting policy reform, and advancing Universal Health Coverage (UHC). Through the initiative, Health Guardians contribute to strengthening advocacy efforts, stakeholder engagement, policy development, and institutional capacity within Nigeria’s healthcare ecosystem.
The partnership was formalized during a signing ceremony held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the HFN Secretariat in Lagos. The CareOne delegation was led by Dr. Leke Oshunniyi, Board Chairman, and included Dr. Efunbo Dosekun, Director and Chairman of Outreach NeoLife; Dr. Segun Ebitanmi, Chief Executive Officer; Dr. Olagoke Ewedairo, Clinical Governance Lead; and Mr. Obinna Ikpe, PR and Partnerships Manager. Representing HFN were President Mrs. Njide Ndili and Public Relations Secretary Mrs. Chinyere Okorocha.
