The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), in conjunction with clerics drawn from various churches in Borno State, has declared a seven-day special fasting and prayers over the health of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The fasting and prayers which commenced on Monday, with Christians converging at various churches is to solicit God’s intervention for the speedy recovery and good health the president.
The fasting and prayers organised by Christians in Borno is sequel to a statement on February 10 by Evangelist Kwamkur Samuel, the director legal and public affairs of CAN, asking Christians to declare special praying time for Buhari and the nation.
