The C-Sagas Charity Foundation has awarded scholarships and bursaries to over 170 students following its 2026 tertiary education screening exercise held recently at the Ebonyi State College of Education, Ikwo.
According to the foundation, 20 students emerged as top performers and received N1 million each in scholarships, while 170 additional students received bursary payments to support their academic pursuits.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Christian Asaga Nwali, described the initiative as a reflection of the organisation’s commitment to investing in human capital and empowering the next generation.
Addressing the scholarship recipients, Nwali commended their hard work and resilience, urging them to uphold values of integrity, excellence and service as ambassadors of the foundation.

He emphasised that their success in the rigorous screening examination was well-earned and a sign of their potential to become future leaders.
He encouraged candidates who were not selected to remain hopeful, noting that the foundation remains committed to creating more opportunities for young people.
The foundation acknowledged the contributions of its leadership, staff and volunteers, as well as key supporters, including former governor of the state, David Umahi and Governor Francis Nwifuru, whose support have strengthened educational development efforts in Ebonyi State.
“We are only just beginning. With every scholarship awarded, every skill acquired and every life transformed, we are building a generation of leaders, who will reshape our communities, state and nation. That is a mission worth every sacrifice and we will not stop until that vision is fully realised.
“The scholarship and bursary programme is part of the foundation’s broader mission to expand access to tertiary education and nurture a new generation of leaders capable of transforming their communities and the nation,” he maintained.
