Buhari nominates Tanko as Chief Justice

President Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded the name of Mohammed Tanko to the Senate for confirmation as Chief Justice of the Federation (CJN).
The letter to that effect was read on the floor of the Senate by Ahmad Lawan, who is currently presiding.
