Buhari extends condolences to his ex-photographer Aghaeze over wife’s passing

Former President Muhammadu Buhari, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of his former official photographer, Sunday Aghaeze, following the passing of his wife, Marbel, on March 4th and was laid to rest on Thursday, March 21st, 2024.

In a statement released by his media aide, Garba Shehu, the former President conveyed his shock and sadness at the news of the demise of the accomplished chartered accountant, describing her as a dedicated professional who excelled in her career within the public service.

He acknowledged the significant loss the family has suffered, emphasizing Mrs. Aghaeze’s role as a pillar of support, a peaceful presence, and a loving mother.

During the funeral, President Buhari offered words of comfort to the family, encouraging Sunday Aghaeze and their children to find solace in the legacy of integrity and respect that the departed soul had left behind.

He also urged them to be grateful for the time they had with Marbel, acknowledging her positive impact on their lives.

In closing, the former President extended his prayers for the peaceful repose of Mrs. Aghaeze’s soul, expressing his deepest sympathies and support to the grieving family during this difficult time.
