The Event Xperience Africa (TEXA), Africa’s premier event conference, is set to return for its highly anticipated 5th edition under the theme “REIGNITE.” This event promises to be an unforgettable experience aimed at empowering and equipping event professionals across Africa.
According to Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, Convener of TEXA and Founder of Zapphaire Events, the event industry is a vital component of Africa’s growing economy.
She emphasized that TEXA’s mission is to create a platform where African event professionals can learn, share, connect and network.
“The conference is designed to provide African event professionals with the tools they need to thrive in an ever-evolving industry.
TEXA will offer insights into the latest trends and innovations, foster networking opportunities, and inspire participants to elevate their businesses to new heights,” said Funke Bucknor-Obruthe.
She further added, “We aim to create a network of professionals who can collaborate, share ideas, and drive growth within the African event ecosystem.”
This year’s conference will feature a diverse lineup of participants from various sectors of the event industry, including designers, concert and show producers, bakers and caterers, audio-visual experts, entertainment specialists (musicians, bands, dancers), event planners, wardrobe and beauty experts, and other service providers.
The 5th edition of TEXA will showcase an impressive lineup of renowned speakers from across Africa and the diaspora, including Wendy Wedad El-Khoury, Dzigbordi Kwaku, Mohammed Garuba, Kola Oyeneyin, Osayi Alile, Joycee Awosika, Amaechi Okobi, Sola Adesakin, among others.
With over 1,000 attendees expected, TEXA will serve as a dynamic platform for learning, networking, and innovation.
The Event Xperience Africa will take place from January 29-30, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Center, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
