The Chief Medical Director of the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, (BSUTH), Makurdi, Dr Stephen Hwande, has presented vehicles to some departments of the hospital to facilitate effective discharge of their duties.
The vehicles which were abandoned for over five years by the previous management were fixed and presented, to the Service Monitoring Unit (a Unit under Public Relations Department), Procurement Department and General Administration.
Dr Hwande while presenting the vehicles to the Heads of the departments said the gesture was to ease their operations which require a lot of movement.
He stressed that with the provision of the vehicles, the departments would have no excuse whatsoever to fail in the discharge of their duties.
Dr Hwande appealed for judicious use of the vehicles and assured that Management would maintain and fuel them on a regular basis.
Speaking separately, the Head of Public Relations, Cephas Hough, that of Procurement, Boniface Bee and of General Administration, Hope Ter-Akuta, all appreciated the CMD for the provision of the vehicles and assured that they would be put to judicious use for the good of the hospital.
