The Nigerian Senate has admitted Customs boss Hameed Ali into the upper house of legislature’s chambers and questioned him on why he has been defying its directive.
He told the senators that he was not aware of any law of the country compelling him to wear Customs uniform. he, however, maintained that he was consulting with his lawyers on the matter.
He is also being questioned on why he introduced the controversial policy to collect customs duties on old vehicles.
