The Federal Government, through the National Salaries, Wages, and Income Commission, has extended an invitation to the leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress in view of halting the ongoing strike.
Spokesperson of NLC, Mr Benson Upah, who confirmed this to DailySun via a chat, said he was not sure if the labour center would be honouring the meeting but added that: “We do not boycott meetings except when absolutely necessary.”
