Breaking: Buhari presides over FEC after seven weeks

After seven weeks absence, President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, presided over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

President Buhari, who returned from medical vacation, in London, after 50 days, started the meeting with humour.

The President, who wore white babanriga and a matching cap, walked into the ‎Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, at exactly 10.03 am where the meeting is currently holding.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo presided over the meeting for seven weeks and held one of the longest meetings in the life of the administration which lasted for seven hours.

The council is currently in its closed door session.
