Tragedy struck Friday afternoon at the Igando area of Lagas when a five years old boy , fell of from a fence while playing hide and seek game with his friends.
The police said that on April 19, at about 5 pm, a sudden and unatural death was reported by a man at Igando Police Station that his son, David, 5, fell off from a fence while playing with other children.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO )SP Benjamin Hundyin confirmed the story, saying that the boy was rushed to Igando General Hospital by his neighbours, where he was confirmed dead by the Doctor on duty.
The PPRO said the scene was visited by officers of the Division, while the body has been removed to Mainland General Hospital, Yaba for autopsy.
Hundyin said investigation was on going.
