She’s designing for the women at the centre of the party, commanding the room in high-slit gowns, structured drapery, and a rhythm of shimmer that’s loud without screaming.

This is not your safe holiday capsule. After Dusk doesn’t play small. It’s a night out turned narrative. Sequins, velvet, crystal mesh .

The texture choices alone could soundtrack an entire December social calendar. But beyond the surface, the tailoring holds power. Cuts that hug without suffocating, plunges that tease without begging. You don’t wear Bola to impress others. You wear it to see yourself.

Sulleman leans into classic glamour but finds ways to make it move. Think a bronze metallic jumpsuit cinched with a silk sash — perfect for dancing. Or a low-back satin number that skims the skin like poetry. It’s sensuality on her own terms, and therein lies the genius.

What could’ve been a typical party collection becomes a full-on manifesto. The colour story is rich but playful: black, gold, plum, midnight hues that drink up the night and photograph like dreams. The accessories are minimal, trusting the garments to speak, and they do.

After Dusk might be rooted in old-school glam, but it’s built for the modern woman’s pace. You feel it in the smart zipper placements and flattering ruching. It’s as if Sulleman thought, “What if sexy didn’t require suffering?” That’s the shift.

Could it have used one shock piece? Maybe. A sheer corset blazer or a tailored mini might’ve added a risk factor. But even without it, this collection lands. Strong. Unapologetic. And fiercely wearable for the right kind of woman I.e the booked and busy type who likes her style with sparkle and stamina.
