Boko Haram resurfaces in another Borno village…kills 4, abducts women

Some Boko Haram members, who fled military onslaught on their Sambisa stronghold, have attacked a community in the southern part of Borno State.
The insurgents surrounded Kau-tuva, a remote village in Damboa Local Government but near Chibok town, yesterday, shortly after  the muslim early morning prayers and set fire on houses, a vigilante in Chibok told Daily Sun by phone on condition of anonymity.
“They surrounded the village and started burning all the houses. This forced people to flee their homes and, in the process, Boko Haram fired shots at them, killing four villagers in the process. They also kidnapped three women,” he disclosed, citing accounts of survivors who fled to Chibok yesterday as sources. He said the community was nearer to Chibok than Damboa town. Some residents of Chibok confirmed the incident.
A military source in Damboa said the insurgents who attacked Kau-tuva “fled Sambisa in the wake of sustained onslaught on the terrorists  enclave…”
