Big Slesh has announced a “Slesh Music Independence Day” party. He said the party will double as a formal launch for Slesh Music Worldwide and be used to preview new music from the label’s catalogue.
Slesh Music Worldwide based in Capetown, South Africa was founded by Solomon ‘Big Slesh’ Eshegbe as a full service music label, artiste management, showbiz and event promotions company.
Plans for the NIgeria at 62 Independence Day party to be held on 1st October 2022 was unfolded by Big Slesh who is the CEO/Founder of Slesh Music Worldwide.
Slesh revealed that the event will have several South African based Nigerian artistes like C Blaq, Dreyson, Doe Billz and Blinx as supporting acts. He also said the headline artiste and a surprise guest artiste will be revealed in the coming weeks.
“I have been hosting Nigeria independence parties in Capetown since 2020 but the 2021 edition was held virtually due to the Covid 19 pandemic safety restrictions”, Slesh said.
“The focus of the party is to promote Nigerian culture and collaborations between Nigerian and South African artistes. Our aim is to use music and fashion as a unifying factor to foster cordial relationships and collaborations between African artistes. With the lifting of Covid safety protocols, and things going back to business as usual, we are expecting over 1000 people this year.” says Slesh.
He said this year’s event will be bigger than previous years. The last two years we have given away gifts to people who buy tickets via a raffle draw and this year attendees will get the chance to win an iPhone 13 pro max and other mouth watering prizes in a raffle draw too.
The event venue, timetable and the full list of performers which will be revealed in September. Big Slesh says details of how to purchase tickets will also be made available on his instagram page in a few weeks.
Solomon is also a singer, songwriter and rapper and is planning for the scheduled release of his debut album in December.
