•To hold showdown talks with Allegri over AC Milan future
Beşiktaş could spend as much as €15 million to acquire Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze.
Chukwueze has been considered surplus to requirements and may not fit into Massimiliano Allegri’s plans for the new Serie A season. As a result, he could be sent to the Turkish Süper Lig before the summer transfer window closes.
According to Serkan Morova, “Chukwueze is a player that Beşiktaş is considering for the right wing, and the technical team is interested in him.”
Beşiktaş has ramped up its transfer efforts and has reached an agreement for his services. The Nigerian winger is expected to arrive in Turkey shortly.
AC Milan, who signed the 25-year-old from Villarreal on a five-year contract for around €20 million, plus €8 million in add-ons, is looking for €15 million for Chukwueze. However, Beşiktaş aims to structure the deal as a loan, with an option to buy included.
Chukwueze struggled to secure a consistent starting berth in the just-concluded Serie A season. In 26 league appearances, he started only nine times and contributed three goals and two assists.
He averaged 36 minutes per game and created five big chances, with a goal every 316 minutes.
Meawhile, Chukwueze is set to hold decisive talks with new AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri to determine his future at the club ahead of the 2025-2026 season.
According to Corriere dello Sport, via Milan Press, the Nigerian international will meet Allegri in the coming days to discuss his place in the squad.
With pre-season preparations set to begin soon, Chukwueze is eager to prove himself and convince Allegri that he deserves a continued stay in Milan.
