The President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived Makurdi, the Benue state capital to commiserate with the people of the state over the attacks and killings of citizens in the state.
The president was received at the airport by the state Governor, Rev.Fr. Hyacinth Alia among other state and national dignitories from in and outside the state.
On leaving the airport, President Tinubu headed straight into the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, (BSUTH) Makurdi where he visited the victims of the Yelwata attacks who were there receiving treatment.
He is also expected to perform other functions including meeting with stakeholders from the state.
