Bellagio Airline in a first, appoints Leshi, a female cabin crew veteran, as COO

The Management of Bellagio Airline Limited has announced the appointment of Bernice Kunbi Leshi, a former female cabin crew member, as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer, COO.

In a statement signed by the airline’s Executive Director, Strategic Communications and Government Relations, Olorogun Ima Niboro, he described Leshi as an accomplished aviation professional with impressive aviation industry experience spanning the full spectrum of cabin services, operations and human resources.

He said: “Her professional career has taken her through strategic positions at Virgin Nigeria Airways, Azman Air Services Limited, XE Jet Limited, Med-View Airline Plc, Green Africa Airways, and Sahih Airline.

“A sociology graduate of the University of Lagos, Leshi holds a full spectrum of IATA, ICAO and other certifications from Nigeria, United States, United Kingdom and Kenya.

“She brings on board nearly 20 years of rich experience, as well as an exceptional can do spirit, to position Bellagio as the airline of choice in Nigeria,” he said.
