The police have banned social activities in parts of Bauchi State, following the crisis that erupted during a birthday party in Tsakanin area of the state, which led to the death of four people, while no fewer than eight others were injured.
Also, a 12-hour curfew has been imposed on some areas in the state following rumours of planned reprisal by opposing groups.
Meanwhile, one of the four persons killed in the violent clash that occurred between two groups in Bauchi State, over a girl at a birthday party, Joseph Sati, was buried yesterday, amid tight security.
The victims, Daily Sun learnt, were oblivious of the misunderstanding over a girl as they found themselves killed as rival groups vent their anger.
During the burial, Daily Sun saw an Armour Personnel Carrier (PMS) and Hilux, belonging to the Nigerian Police, at the main entrance of the Cemetery at Kagadama.
There was a small gathering of sympathisers, families and friends who came to pay their last respect to Joseph, a father of one.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kamal Abubakar, told newsmen in his office, yesterday, that the deployment of security at the cemetery was a measure to prevent any unforeseen attack.
“There were cases of attacks in the past during burials, hence, the deployment of security at the burial ground, to avert breakdown of law and order,” he said.
The deceased, a carpenter, was hacked to death by machete-wielding youths, around the Kusu area.
“He had taken his sick wife to the hospital and was returning, when he got caught in the crisis,” said Zachariah Yohana, a youth leader from Yelwa Transformer area.
