President and Chief Executive Officer of Avila Naturalle, manufacturer of natural skincare products in Africa, Dr Temitope Mayegun has been awarded the Social Entrepreneur of the Year award at the African Women Entrepreneurship and Innovation Forum (AWEIF) 2024 Conference held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The AWEIF Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding women entrepreneurs and innovators who are making a positive impact in their communities and the African continent. The Social Entrepreneur of the Year award is given to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptional social impact, innovation, and leadership in their business.
Receiving the award, Dr. Mayegun expressed profound gratitude to the organisers of the conference, highlighting the significance of the recognition to the company and its vision to impact lives positively across Africa.
