AVEVA, a global software company that specialises in industrial digital solution, has introduced key upgrades to its industrial digital twin portfolio, announcing new enhancements to its Asset Information Management, System Platform and PI Data Infrastructure offerings.
The company unveiled the updates at Schneider Electric’s Innovation Summit in Copenhagen, where more than 5,000 delegates gathered for discussions on energy, automation and digital transformation.
The enhancements are designed to improve the integration of engineering and operations data through AVEVA’s Connect industrial intelligence platform. According to the company, the updates will allow organisations to access trusted asset information and real-time operational data through a unified interface, enabling more scalable analytics, faster decision-making and improved asset reliability.
AVEVA said the improvements will also streamline the transfer of data to the cloud-based Connect platform, reduce IT infrastructure costs and enhance the precision of digital twin applications. The company added that the convergence of engineering documentation, maintenance records and real-time sensor data will strengthen analytics and AI-driven insights for industrial users.
At the summit, the Chief Executive Officer of AVEVA, Caspar Herzberg, highlighted the role of industrial intelligence in accelerating the global energy transition.
