Asa, Wizkid inspire me – Trazyx

 Gifted artiste, Adeyemo Odiri Olajide a.k.a Trazyx has averred that Nigerian artistes, Wizkid and Asa inspire him.

“I am inspired by Wizkid and Asa. They are both amazing Nigerian artistes. My mum back then usually play Asa’s songs everyday”.

Recounting how his music journey began, the Ondo born artiste said:” I got into music because I have the passion and love for it. I had  a studio close to my house in Benin city, Edo state. I’m always around that studio to learn how to make music. As time went on, I got used to it .Whenever a beat is being played, I find it easy to vibe to it. There after, I became a backup singer  for some artistes. I started writing songs myself and recorded my first song with a producer called eyezybeat. He told me not to give up, adding that music is in me”.

Shedding light on his creative process, the Afrobeats cum RnB artiste said:”Most times, I create music by going to the studio with the mindset of recording a hit song.I ask the producer to give me any kind of beat that I can vibe to.If I  like it, we create something on it. Thereafter, we  make some corrections”.

Asked how the internet has impacted on his music, he said:” The internet has helped artistes like me.One can upload new projects from the comfort of one’s  home and reach a wider demographic and audience. The music business is a numbers business.The more people listen to you, the more streams your project will get. This means one will make more money”
