Arsenal has reportedly entered the race to sign Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman following the winger’s fallout with Gian Piero Gasperini at Atalanta. Mikel Arteta is keen to address his side’s attacking shortcomings ahead of next season.

The 27-year-old Nigeria international is one of several attacking players under consideration as the club prepares to reshape its frontline after missing out on the Premier League title for the third consecutive season. Arsenal has scored only 64 league goals—16 fewer than champions Liverpool and just two more than 16th-placed Tottenham—while still searching for a reliable attacking spark after facing injuries and inconsistency.

Meanwhile, Barcelona is reportedly also considering making a move for Lookman during this summer’s transfer window.
