APGA governorship candidate Tseayo votes, raises alarm on vote buying

Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for Benue Governorship election John Tseayo has expressed confidence that he will win the poll.

tseayo who cast his vote at exactly 9:29 hours for Governorship and State House of Assembly election at LGEA Primary School Ukegbenga Polling Unit (Code 006) alongside his wife Deve Tseayo, commended INEC for the conduct of the poll saying, “their officials were on time and they are orderly, the card readers seem to be working perfectly okay.

“The voters have conducted themselves in appropriate manner. There is the evidence of a lot of votes buying by agents of the APC and PDP here. But outside that the election had been relatively peaceful.”

Tseayo, also commended security agencies for doing their job well saying, “there is no element of breach of security; not at all.”

Asked if he was confident of winning, he replied: “Yes, I am confident that be it this night, tomorrow or Monday, once the result of the election is declared, I will win the election and I am fully ready and gearing up to serve the people of Benue State.”
