All Progressives Congress (APC), in Osun State, has won 22 seats out of the 26 in the state House of Assembly.
According to the results announced by the state’s INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Segun Agbaje, in Osogbo, the state capital, on Sunday, the APC cleared 22 seats, while the opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party ((PDP) won three seats while the result for the Oriade constituency was declared inconclusive.
With the result, the ruling party which had 23 seats before now, still maintains its majority status in the Assembly.
PDP had only two seats in the outgoing Assembly but has added one more seat to its earlier number.
