The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Umar Ganduje, has appointed a veteran journalist and public relations expert, Chief Oliver Okpala, as his Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment.
Chief Okpala worked as a journalist in both print and electronic media for over a period of 45 years. He also served as media consultant to the former Governor of Ebonyi State, Senator Sam Egwu and as SSA Media and Strategic Communications to former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano.
He is also a one-time media adviser to former PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur.
Okpala’s appointment letter was digned by APC National, Senator Secretary, Surajudeen Ajibola.
The appointment takes effect from November 1, 2023.
