The National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) has described Monday’s road crash involving British-Nigerian boxing star Anthony Joshua as “unfortunate” and “deeply saddening,” extending condolences to the families of the two victims who lost their lives.
This is contained in a Tuesday statement signed by NAOSS National President, Aare Oluwafemi Ajayi (FM Castro).
The association expressed profound empathy for those affected by the accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.
The crash claimed the lives of Joshua’s close friends and team members, personal trainer Latif “Latz” Ayodele and strength and conditioning coach Sina Ghami.
Ajayi said, “The unfortunate incident that has occurred is deeply saddening, and our hearts go first to the families of the deceased.
“Losing a loved one is a pain that words cannot cure. We pray that God grants the families the strength to carry this burden, the grace to endure the days ahead, and the comfort that only time and divine mercy can provide.
