British-Nigerian boxer, Anthony Joshua is quitting the United Kingdom to relocate to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Daily Mail reports that the former two-time world boxing heavyweight champion’s relocation was revealed in documents he filed last Friday for his £150million business empire in which he is legally required to state the country in which he resides.
According to the report, the documents show that two of his companies, Sparta Promotions Limited and 258 Investments Limited, have now listed the UAE as their principal country of residence.
Sparta Promotions reportedly made profits of £20.396million and paid £6.65million in UK tax in 2024.

The 36-year-old boxer frequently visits Dubai and uses its sporting facilities for holidays and training, as well as promotional work for brands he represents.
The permanent move highlights Dubai’s growing appeal to high-net-worth athletes and entrepreneurs, largely due to its zero income tax environment and global business infrastructure.
However, it comes at a time of heightened tension in the Middle East occasioned by the war US-Israeli war on Iran which has spilled across the region, including the UAE.
SunOnline recalls that the Dubai relocation comes three months after Joshua was involved in a fatal road accident in Ogun State, Nigeria, which claimed the lives of his two best friends, Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele.
