Amokachi quits troubled Lobi Stars

Daniel Amokachi has quit as coach of troubled NPFL club Lobi Stars.

Lobi Stars are bottom of the 20-team championship with 22 points from 24 matches.

The Makurdi outfit has failed to win in their last five matches.

Assistant coach and former captain Tar Akombo will lead the team for Wednesday’s NPFL clash at second-placed Shooting Stars.

Amokachi reportedly first quit his position in December, but this was later dismissed by the club.
