Secretary to the Government of the Federation, (SGF) Senator George Akume, is expected to attend the annual national convention of Government Secondary School, Otukpo Old Boys Association (OGSSOBA) between Friday October 27 and Saturday, October 28.
A statement signed by its President, Paul Edeh, said the association boasts of prominent members who have made substantial contributions to national, state, and community development.
Edeh said among the distinguished alumni set to attend the convention is Senator George Akume, a former Governor of Benue State, who graduated from the school’s first set in 1971.
He added that school also produced two past Chief Judges of Benue State – the late Honourable Justice Hwande and Adam Onum, along with numerous others who have achieved great heights in their respective professions.
He said the state governor and deputy governor are also expected at the convention.
