Akeredolu, others to serve on APC’s federalism committee

Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, is among those selected to serve on the All Progressives Congress (APC) Committee on True Federalism.
The APC National Chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun, in a letter dated July 17, 2017, appointed the governor to serve on the committee.
The committee is to review ideas proposed and recommend a party position based on the manifesto and campaign promises. It is expected to complete its work by August 20.
Other members are governors of Osun, Rauf Aregbesola; Kano, Umar Ganduje; Plateau, Simon Lalong; Ogun, Ibikunle Amosun; former governor of Edo, Oserheimen Osunbor; APC National Organising Secretary, Osita Izunaso; APC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi and Olubunmi Adetunmbi, who will serve as the secretary.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the committee is scheduled to hold on Friday, August 4, 2017, at the Kaduna Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja.
