Agile Advisor Nigeria, a platform for Agile practitioners who coach individuals and organisations on swift ways to eliminating work place wastes has been introduced in Nigeria consultancy sub sector.
Briefing newsmen in Lagos recently, Founder/Enterprise Coach Abby Osoba, explained that Agile Advisor Nigeria was a subsidiary of Agile Advisor based in Canada, adding that it was a collection of practice, process and approach to doing things the agile way.
She said, “it is about project management and technology which has been in existence for about 50 years but Agile is much longer than that. It is a methodology that came into existence to help improve the shortfall of project management with a focus on efficiency, effectiveness, innovation and better approach that saves time and money for each individual or organisation. It is not new among developed countries but in Nigeria, it is new. “
On why she thinks the technology would help transform the country, Osoba said “we are in Nigeria to let people know that Agile is not only for software organisations which has adopted it the most, but also for other sectors of the economy: real estate, restaurant owners fashion designers and telcos as well as individuals, government institutions at local, state and federal levels.
