The Africa Beauty Summit & Awards (ABSA) will hold on September 21 at The Assembly House in Norwich, United Kingdom.

ABSA has evolved into a continental powerhouse, celebrating Africa’s creative excellence in beauty while building bridges to the global stage.

Formerly known as the Lagos Beauty Summit, ABSA has grown into a premier platform where beauty meets empowerment, creativity meets opportunity, and Africa meets the world.

The summit promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring dazzling runway glam, industry-shaping conversations, and networking opportunities with trailblazers, innovators, and world-class entrepreneurs.

At the heart of this movement is Mrs. Temitope Comfort Sedi Bakare, an entrepreneur, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Seddy Beauty Studio, and the driving force behind the Seddy Foundation.

Her artistry and leadership have powered some of the continent’s most iconic cultural moments—from Black History Month powered by AVIVA Insurance UK to MTN Project Fame, Saro The Musical, Under 30 CEOs, The Next Movie Star, and countless fashion shows, films, and celebrity projects. Through Seddy Beauty Studio, she continues to set standards in makeup artistry, beauty aesthetics, hairstyling, spa and wellness, cosmetic product innovation, and image branding.

Through the Seddy Foundation, she has empowered over 1,000 Africans and impacted more than 100 global beneficiaries with employability-driven training, mentorship, and international collaborations.

Mrs. Bakare who leads the September UK event believes beauty is not just about appearance, but power, opportunity, and a catalyst for global transformation.
