The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, (AFCON), draw will take place on Monday, January 27, in Rabat, Morocco.

A total of 24 teams will confirm their group-stage opponents for Africa’s biggest football competition.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino is anticipated to attend the ceremony alongside CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe.

The 24 countries have been divided into four pots, with the top six teams from the December FIFA World Rankings in Pot One.

One team from each of the four pots will be drawn into six groups of four teams. This means that the top six ranked teams cannot face each other in the first round.
