Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a change in the scheduled date for the assessment of underage candidates seeking admission into the universities.
JAMB, in a statement, yesterday, confirmed that the decision was taken in collaboration with the representatives of the chosen universities.
It asked all public universities to submit their recommended candidates on its Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) platform on or before Tuesday, September 30, while all private universities are to submit their recommendations on or before Friday, October 31.
“This is to ensure that the deadlines of October 30, for public universities, and November 31, for private universities are achieved, recalling that the dates are sacrosanct as decided at the 2025 policy meeting on admissions under the chairmanship of Dr. Tunji Alausa, Minister of Education.”
