The Chief of Staff to the Speaker of Adamawa state house of Assembly, Usman Umar Sahabi, has regained his freedom after spending about five days in the hands of his captors. Sahabi, who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on 2nd of November 2023, has regained his freedom today, 7th November, 2023.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, has confirmed that the victim has indeed regained his freedom.
Daily Sun gathered that Sahabi, regained his freedom earlier today although the amount paid for his ransom was not disclosed.
The Sun had earlier reported that some unknown gunmen had stormed into Sahabi’s residence at Wuro Chekke at around 1am and abducted him on to an unknown location.
His abductors had demanded for a ransom fee of about N20M.
