The Yoruba sector of the Nigerian movie industry was thrown into mourning on Tuesday, March 7 as veteran actor, Ojo Arowosafe popularly known as Fadeyi Oloro, passed away after a brief illness.

He came, fought and conquered

Remmy Shitta-Bey, actor

You came to this sinful world with a mission to entertain and teach the right way of living without being evil. You accomplished your mission in your own little way and became famous. No wonder you became the Deputy Governor of Lagos State ANTP under the leadership of Remmy Bayo Shitta-Bey.

You came, fought and conquered the battle of success. We will forever miss you in the movie industry. Though, death is inevitable, your death came so soon. May your soul rest in peace!

I used to be scared of him

-Foluke Daramola, actress

Fadeyi Oloro was an awesome and fantastic actor who was passionate about his act. He’s an extremely jovial man and always full of life. When I met him in my younger days in the theatre, I used to be scared of him, because I thought he really processed charms. But when I got closer to him, I discovered that he’s absolutely different from what he acts, because he was a devout Christian. My NGO tried to assist him but who are we to question God? There is nothing anyone can do when death knocks on the door. I will really miss him, especially on set. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Amen.
