Veteran Nollywood actor Abdul Salam Taofeek, popularly known as Tioroju Mondusi, has spoken publicly about what he described as one of the most painful experiences of his life, revealing that he later discovered some of the children he raised were not biologically his.
Speaking during an interview on the African A-List podcast, Taofeek recounted the emotional ordeal, saying the experience left a lasting impact on him and remains difficult to overcome, despite the death of his former wife.
According to the actor, the crisis began several years ago when his wife, who was heavily pregnant at the time, disappeared from home for days without informing him of her whereabouts.
“The only person that did the most painful thing to me in life is my wife. The incident brought tears to my eyes. She’s late now, may God forgive her,” he said.
Taofeek alleged that he later discovered his wife had conducted an introduction ceremony with another man while still married to him. He claimed the situation escalated after she openly questioned the paternity of the child she was carrying.
The actor further stated that the matter eventually reached the courts following the breakdown of their marriage.
