Niger Delta-based ace comedian, Ebitimi Ogoniba, popularly known as MC Senibo, has paid the West African Examination Council (WAEC) registration fees for 55 students, including three external candidates at Community Secondary School, Odioama, Brass Local Government Area.
Senibo, an alumnus of the school, also constructed and equipped a standard library for the institution a few years ago, stocking it with books relevant for secondary school students and materials that will aid them in their early university days. He noted that this initiative was borne out of his passion for the school’s development and his desire to support students from families unable to afford the costs of education.

“Supporting the dreams of young people is very important to me. Those in SS3 are stepping into a new phase of their lives. I want to encourage them to remain focused, work hard, and give their best as they prepare for their examinations. I promise to return next year to continue this support,” he said.
Senibo also promised to increase the number of books in the library and ensure it covers all learning categories.
The Principal of the school, Osain Fiezibe, who was represented by a staff member, Ellison Fenengi, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Senibo for his remarkable act of benevolence. He noted that the gesture would go a long way in addressing the overall well being of the students and staff.
