A Nigerian fashion firm, Aristocrat Clothing, has declared its intention to reset Nigeria’s luxury fashion narrative as it prepares to open its flagship store in Lagos.
In a statement, the Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Kayode Alfred, said the new outlet represents a deliberate shift from imported labels to world-class, made-in-Nigeria craftsmanship.
He said the grand opening will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Ogunusi, Ojodu, Lagos, adding that the new branch is aimed at redefining what Nigerian luxury looks like.
According to him, the Ojodu flagship store was designed to merge impeccable tailoring with sophistication and individuality for the modern Nigerian man and woman.
Alfred said Aristocrat is moving the industry away from mass fashion towards bespoke luxury rooted in Nigerian identity but built to global standards.
He noted that the launch comes at a time when demand for premium local fashion is rising, as consumers increasingly patronise homegrown designers over foreign brands.
“Style has always been more than what one wears. It is an expression of identity, confidence and character. With this store, we are redefining what Nigerian luxury looks like,” Alfred said.
“This is more than retail. This is the new home of the Aristocrat experience. We are here to prove that Nigerian brands can lead in luxury,” he added.
“As the doors of this flagship open, Aristocrat Clothing is poised to take its rightful place in Nigeria’s evolving luxury landscape. We will continue to champion class, confidence and impeccable style as timeless values,” Alfred said.
