Last week, we began talking about “Wisdom Keys For Financial Growth”.
Today, I will begin with the first key and we will proceed to its types.
1. GIVING.
PHILIPPIANS 4:17,19.KJV. 17”Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to is riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
GENESIS 1:11-12.KJV. 11”And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good”.
GENESIS 8:20-22.KJV. 20 And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
22”While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease”.
Financial restoration begins with a seed. Genesis 1:11-12.KJV. 11”And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good”.
What Is A Seed?
•A seed is anything that can become more.
• Every seed is a generation.
• Seeds are bitter.
• Seeds are not meant for consumption.
• Your seed is the bridge between your present and your future.
• Every seed is a golden door from your present into your future.
• Your financial restoration begins in your own hands.
• Nothing leaves heaven until something leaves earth.
• Your seed is what God multiplies; your faith is why He multiplies it.
• Every seed carries an invisible instruction-bring more.
• Your seed is what meets your need.
•Your seed is the raw material heaven requires to make your finished product.
Your seed may leave your hand, but it will never leave your life, it goes into the future where it multiplies.
Whatever you have in your hands is what God will use to create your future.
You are a working-warehouse of seeds.
No seed that meets God’s expectation can be lost.
Nothing leaves the hand of God until something leaves your hand.
Seed is what connects you to the ears of God.
No seed is too small to multiply.
Anytime you complete an instruction from God, you move into another phase of life.
The quality of your seed determines the quality of your harvest.
Genesis.4:4-5.KJV. 4”And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell”.
God rates our giving. The widow’s mite. Lk.21:1-4.KJV. 1”And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had”.
Giving is one of the keys for financial restoration.
Giving is equal to love. John 3:16.KJV. 16”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.
Giving reveals your love for God or men.
Giving to God is the photograph of your love for Him.
Your destiny is not at the mercies of your economy, your destiny is at the mercies of your seed.
Financial restoration is connected to the seed.
Your giving to God, man and into the anointing produces the overflow in every realm.
TYPES OF GIVING.
1. KINGDOM PROMOTION GIVING.
HAGGAI 1:1-12.NIV. 1”In the second year of King Darius, on the first day of the sixth month, the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jozadak,[a] the high priest:
2 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “These people say, ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s house.’”
3 Then the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai:
4 “Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneledhouses, while this house remains a ruin?”
5 Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways.
6 You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.”
7 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways.
8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the Lord.
9 “You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the Lord Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with your own house.
10 Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops.
11 I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the olive oil and everything else the ground produces, on people and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”
12 Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the Lord their God had sent him. And the people feared the Lord.
This is one of the requirements for financial restoration.
The giving covenant is one of the secrets that opens the doors of heaven.
Kingdom promotion giving is one of the keys that determines our financial growth.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
In all of these, the first step is to be born again as
Romans 10:9-10 says
”that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.“
Kindly say this prayer aloud;
“O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Your word says,”…whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21).
I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit and according to Roman 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”,
I declare that I am saved; I am born-again; I am a child of God!
I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4)!
I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!”
