Muslims have been charged to always prepare for their permanent home as death is inevitable.

The Kwara State Chief Missioner of Alfatathu-L-Qareeb Society of Nigeria, Shelkh Ibrahim Abdulsalam Alanamu, stated this in his sermon during the third day Fidau Prayer for Hajia Ramatallahi Popoola at Royal Valley Estate, Zango area, Ilorin.

Sheik Alanamu emphasised the needs for every Muslim to be exemplary and role model in the society by inculcating the full teachings of the Islam and the Prophet in their daily deeds.

He described life as a temporary place, saying  “our permanent home is hereafter and good deeds and sacrifices in the cause of Almighty Allah would be keys to enter Alijana Firdausi for all.”

The Qoreeb Missioner described the late Hajia Ramatallahi as a devoted Muslim, who will be missed among her family, community, especially the Qoreeb family in Kwara and Nigeria.

He urged other Muslims to emulate her commitments and dedication towards the propagations of Islam.

The religion leader prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljanant Fridaos and prayed for long life for the widower and children.

The first son, Mallam Nasirudeen Popoola, described her mother as a great woman who cared a lot for the entire family, not only her own children. 

Popoola, a strong member of the Qareeb Society and a retired headmistress of United Primary school,Taiwo Isale, Kwara State, died at the age of 72 years after a brief illness.

She is survived by a widower, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Popoola, four children and grandchildren.
