In a shocking incident near Milan, Italy, a 17-year-old boy confessed to the brutal murders of his parents and younger brother. The tragedy unfolded just hours after the family celebrated the father’s 51st birthday.

At first, the teenager gave police a made-up account in which he said he saw his father, Fabio Chiarioni, murder his mother, Daniela Albano, and his 12-year-old brother. Then, in self-defence, he said, he attacked and killed his father. Police, however, were sceptical of his statements due to discrepancies in his testimony and the absence of physical injuries.

During a second interrogation, the teenager confessed to the murders, revealing a chilling motive. He admitted to feeling like an outsider in his family, stating, “There is no real reason why I killed them. I felt like a foreign body in my family. Oppressed. I thought that by killing them all I would free myself from this discomfort.”

The teenager described the horrifying incident in detail, including how he assaulted his sleeping brother first and repeatedly stabbed him with a kitchen knife. Then he aimed the firearm towards his parents, who were present in the room as well.
