Salami’s entrepreneurial journey began in university with an online salon booking service. This venture was inspired by the need to modernize outdated salon services near his campus, sparking his passion for creating user-centric solutions and entrepreneurship.

“The motivation for starting my online booking service for Salons stemmed from my initial venture and a desire to address prevalent issues. As a student in the Finance department at Unilag, discussions with colleagues about innovation and investment opportunities sparked my interest in technology and entrepreneurship”, he added.

Innovation with Sharply Africa

In response to the e-commerce boom and the unique logistical challenges in Nigeria, Salami developed Sharply Africa. This no-code logistics software allows users to create and customize logistics solutions without traditional coding skills. The platform aims to empower small businesses by providing a cost-effective, user-friendly system for managing deliveries and enhancing vendor-customer communication.
